Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design

According to, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED is an Internatiialy recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.

Midwest Wrecking Co. contributes to the recycling effort to decrease our carbon footprint.  The office collects and recycles cardboard and paper waste produced from daily office operations.  Demolition site debris is also recycled including material such as concrete, metal, brick, wire, and other ferrous/non-ferrous items.  Building material is salvaged when possible and re-sold to interested buyers.  Household fixtures, A/C units, columns, porch railing, commercial industrial equipment, other common residential and commercial items are just a few examples.  If you are interested in any salvaged items please visit our salvage page for more details.
